Giardini d'Agrumi

An event dedicated to rediscovering and enhancing the citrus fruits and lemon houses of Gargnano. A route that will take visitors to discover around twenty private gardens, exceptionally open to the public, where citrus fruits were and still are grown for productive or decorative purposes. 

Following the historical routes through the streets of the village, all the way to Bogliaco, visitors can access the lemon houses where citrus fruits are cultivated, sometimes still according to historical techniques, thanks to some twenty owners who make their sites available for visits. The event is accompanied by exhibitions, cultural meetings, didactic and sensory workshops, musical and artistic moments, guided tours and a market dedicated to citrus fruits and local gastronomic and artisanal products, which is enriched every year by new exhibitors, also from other citrus-growing areas.
