Ciottolando con Gusto

On September 26 and 27, 2026, Ciottolando con Gusto returns to Malcesine, on Lake Garda. This food and wine event invites visitors each year to discover the village through an original journey combining flavours, tradition and local heritage.

For an entire weekend, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, the streets and squares of the historic centre become the setting for an itinerary dedicated to the gastronomic excellence of the Lake Garda area. The 2026 edition, themed “Tasty Hunter”, offers a true hunt for flavours: participants can explore Malcesine by following a route featuring 19 gastronomic stops, tasting at each venue a speciality created especially for the occasion and accompanied by local wines and products.

The event booklet becomes the guide to an experience to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace, strolling through the characteristic narrow streets of the historic centre and reaching restaurants, venues and tasting points. At each stop, participants can collect a stamp and vote for their favourite creations, helping to select the winner of the Ciottolo d’Oro, the award given to the proposal most appreciated by the public.

Ciottolando con Gusto is not just a gastronomic journey, however. The event also offers the opportunity to experience Malcesine in a special atmosphere, with music, entertainment and initiatives dedicated to promoting local products. Among the experiences not to be missed are the areas dedicated to Km Zero and the local territory, where visitors can discover local products and businesses at closer range.

The itinerary can also be combined with a visit to the village’s main attractions, such as the impressive Scaliger Castle, one of Malcesine’s most iconic landmarks, offering spectacular views over Lake Garda.
